Which PDFCrowd plan do I need for the Save as PDF WordPress plugin?
Choose a plan by how many PDFs you expect visitors to create and how large those PDFs are, not by the number of WordPress sites. The Save as PDF WordPress plugin uses a PDFCrowd license for plugins and integrations.
If you are only testing
You do not need to choose a paid plan for the first test. The plugin works in demo mode by default, and demo output includes PDFCrowd watermarking and branding.
For demo mode, production output, and where to enter the WordPress key, use Can I use the Save as PDF plugin without a PDFCrowd license?.
Choose the plan by output volume
PDFs generated by the WordPress plugin use credits from your PDFCrowd account. Use the pricing page to choose a plan based on the number and size of files you expect to generate.
One generated file can use more than one credit. Credits are counted by output size, so larger files use more credits than smaller files. For the exact rule, use How do conversion credits work?.
Use one license on multiple WordPress sites
A PDFCrowd license can be used across multiple WordPress websites for the PDFCrowd WordPress plugins. Files generated from those sites count against the same PDFCrowd plan limits and credits.
If the public plans do not fit
If you need annual licensing, bulk credits, or a usage pattern that does not fit the public monthly plans, please contact us. Annual licensing options can be arranged separately, and the current plan FAQ has the latest details: Do you offer annual plans?.
Do not choose a larger plan only because you use the plugin on more than one WordPress site. Choose it when the combined output volume, file sizes, or usage limits require it.
