WebSave 1.4.1 Released

WebSave 1.4.1 brings three improvements to saving web pages as PDF or images:

  • Reliable initialization with async. WebSave now waits until the page’s HTML is ready before initializing buttons. This fixes buttons being missed when the script loads early. Scripts loaded after the page is ready initialize immediately.
  • Support for pages without div elements. Content-mode conversions now work correctly on pages that contain no <div> elements.
  • Compressed HTML uploads. In content mode, WebSave uses gzip compression when the browser supports it, reducing the amount of HTML data uploaded. If compression is unavailable or fails, WebSave automatically uploads the original HTML.

For new integrations or updates, use:

<script src="https://edge.pdfcrowd.com/websave/1.4.1/websave.min.js" async></script>

Existing button configuration and callbacks continue to work without changes.
